Back to Kyle Thompson...

Although I have moved on from my second chosen artist, Kyle Thompson and I am currently on my third artist, I had contacted Thompson a few weeks ago and he has only just got back to me.
Here is the email that Thompson got back to me with (you will have to click to enlarge it):

I have found this email extremely helpful as it allows me to know further in-detail what Thompson is trying to portray through his images. "I think these images are somewhat emotionless, as they don't contain a true character to sympathize with." Although I personally want my images to convey the emotions of fear (which is an aspect that differentiates me from Thompson), I now understand what Thompson is trying to achieve when shooting his images. This means that I can take what Thompson wants into consideration when shooting images.

"Also I checked out your site, and your work looks really good!  It's good that you're starting young, just make sure you focus on improving (Spend time figuring out what you like or don't like in your individual images, and change accordingly).  Most people get stuck at the same level eventually, because they get too confident in their work."
